Black and White B_B00k for only $5.99

Since having the pages in color were really driving the price up I'm glad I can now offer B_B00k in Black and White which brings the price down to normal levels... NOW the color one IS much nicer to look at... so those of you that got the color one have a much nicer book ^ ^ BUT if you just want to read my motivational art/film werDs then grab the B&W or maybe get a couple and give them to friends who need an artistic kick in the ass ^ ^

B_BOOK
Authored by M dot Strange, Edited by Rakel Musicbox

The spirited arts manifesto by professional weirdo and uberector M dot Strange.

B_B00k addresses: Motivation, depression, using your emotional pain as fuel for your journey as an artist to meet your ultimate potential and know true happiness. How to create and live through your own INNER HERO! The way of the Samurai artist!

If you have never quite felt like you fit in, and that you have a passion for the arts greater than all those around you which can be quite depressing... then B_B00K is for you!

I wrote this book as sort of an artistic pick you upper... a kick in the ass... a slap in the back of the head
to get you going creating the awesome work that you should be!

  1. me likes this :). Color is pretty, but for me, information is power, that's the most important thing to me :). Words are worth gold, whatever the material their printed on :). Thanks for giving me this opportunity :)

Sure thing! I would have done A_book Black and White as well to lower the price but since its about design and stuff it needs to be in color.

  3. Is this something that would also work as an audiobook? I mean, since it's motivational. It'd be cool to get a audiobook copy read by you with MdS tracks in the background. It would be a continuation of the Film Skool videos you used to do; those used to have a lot of motivational moments (I miss those, in fact). Maybe it could be a freebie if someone bought the color book, or...

It's actually a test to see if people would be interested in the audio book version ^ ^

  5. Hey, do you have a one-stop store for all the things people can buy? A place where a person can see DVDs, books, soundtracks, the whole nine. For example, clicking the "MdotStrange" link on the We Are the Strange page on Amazon only shows that DVD under your name.

Granted, you have multiple pages on this blog that can send you to the places to buy that stuff. It's not like that's so hard. But I was thinking about how easy it would be if there was one place where you could just click "Add to Cart"—BAM BAM BAM.

  7. Sweet! I'm short on cash so this makes B_B00k much more accessible. Gotta make a deposit tonight then I'm totally ordering! Been struggling keeping myself motivated on personal projects in the wake of college graduation and real life pressure so this may be just what I need...

btw, I know I changed my Blogspot name, but this is demonicbunny666 from YouTube, not just some random person. Probably should have mentioned that earlier xP

What format should I render out of Cinema 4d with?

UPDATED 2_27_13!  RENDER USING EXR Lossy Zip16! Since I'm working on a new feature film that will generate over 1500 shots made up of image sequences I need to make sure I choose the right file format to render to lest my hard drives explode. What I need from my format is  at least 16bit, an alpha included and preferably small size. I rendered out a frame from my film tallied up all the file sizes here- their all different types of codecs listed from smallest file size to largest. The render includes an RGBA pass, Depth pass, and Material Luminance pass because thats what I always render out. 1.00mb 8bit-Photo Jpeg %100 1.27mb 8bit-PNG 4.65mb 16bit- EXR lossy ZIP16 5.75mb 8bit-PSD 6.23mb 16bit-EXR lossy PLZ 6.44mb 16bit-PNG 7.94mb 8bit-TIFF 8.50mb 16bit-EXR Lossy 24 9.05mb 16bit-EXR Lossy Run Length 14.6mb 8bit-TARGA 22.4mb 32bit-EXR ZIP16 24.6mb 32bit-EXR Zip1 25.6mb 32bit-EXR PLZ 29.3mb 16bit-TIFF 29.3mb 16bit-PSD 40.0mb 32bit-EXR Run Length 58.7mb 16
