After animating over 1500 shots by yourself in less than a year you're going to get a lot of practice... so that... I did... After doing all that... making something like SOOPERMAN is really fast and easy... 30-40 shots a day at that low quality is easily do-able...  It has more to do with the simplicity of everything... and you probably noticed but ALL the characters in SOOPERMAN are using the BOXMAN character/rig I gave away and was using in my tutorials... so if you have it you can make something like SOOPERMAN as well.... I've done as much work on HSM as I can at the moment... or as of a week ago that's why I made sooperman... I'm supposed to get some more music for HSM today so I can get back to work on that... BUT yesterday I wrote three more sooperman episodes and they get BIGGER and CRAZIER... there's giant robots, giant monsters.... he gets  a "partner" briefly... theres NUKES...a musical episode... all kinds of crazy shit ^ ^ So whenever I

So its been a few weeks since I got new music for the film so that's on hold until I get the next piece... next week hopefully... so since I finished the foley/sound design for the part of the film that's cut and I finished the trailers and book and all that I have nothing to do the next 4 days sooooooooo..... I wrote a ten page comedy script and storyboarded it and started animating today... if you ever listened to my old internets radio show you may have heard us talk about this PROJECT SUPERMAN thing... so yeh I wrote a script based on that and it was so ridiculous, funny and perverted I HAD TO MAKE IT... so that's what I'm doing now.. it will be done by Tuesday... I talked to Jamie from Indiebltiz yesterday and we have some exciting stuff in store for yall! As I look around and read all these indie film/tech blogs er whatever I've seen a big trend wherein some new camera will come out and people will shout "THIS is the camera we've been waiting for! THIS is the ultimate camera!" AS IF the reason they are NOT making awesome, original, innovative, passionate films TODAY is because they don't have the right camera....riiiiiiight... that is this thing called BULLSHIT ^ ^ So everyone says "I'll make a great film when X piece of gear is available because I can't possibly make it without X piece of gear" Now no matter if that piece of gear is a camera, a codec, software, a computer...whatever... that is NOT what is stopping people... it's theY own FEAR... if you haven't read Steven Pressfield's "THE WAR OF ART" go out and get it today! On the surface it seems like nothing is going on with this M dot Strange guy... that's because there's a ton of stuff going on behind the scenes... things are moving CLOSER towards the release of HSM and a bunch of other things and they will all be ready at the same time... Sooooooo I'm waiting till they are all ready so I can be like BLAM! The second little book "B_BOOK" is ready to go.... THIS ISN'T THE HSM ONE! This was originally going to be in the HSM book but it would have made it way too long and expensive so I made it a separate book.... this one is like my auto-biography/crazy arts manifesto ^_^ I was originally going to do it in black and white to keep the price down but it looked so nice in color I decided to keep it that way even though it makes it expen$ive... so instead of forcing you to buy this lil short book for $34 to get the information I'm going to publish all the text from the book here on this blog... So it took me like 4 hours to export the pdf of the second book so I could upload it to createspace... Once I got it right it was 1 gigabyte and the max is 400mb so I had to tweak some more to get it right... eventually I did.... now I wait on they system to reject it or A-OK it... So then I got back to foley work... foley is REALLY fun... I'm having a good time sitting on the floor making the sounds for the characters movement with this wooden guy... EXCEPT my main PC is way too loud 0_o I was getting all this PC noise in tha mic... ended up having to record the foley with this laptop as its real quiet... its a good thing I got an external usb audiobox because of your donations way back when ^ ^ So I just unplugged it from the PC and plugged it into dis laptop... and finished my foley stuff for the first movement of the film... I already finished all the "ambient" sound design for the whole film... I went through and created ambient sound environments for each locati

So I finished the rough layout of the book and along the way I realized it was too much stuff... Half of the material...all the HSM specific stuff is graphics heavy so that HAD to be in color and in the biggest book size possible which is only 8" x 10" BUT yeh that had to stay... so what I did was split up the HSM related photo heavy stuff from the mostly wordy stuff that can due with black and white photos... So I'm going to put out two books... M dot Strange's "A_BOOK" which is 181 pages and "B_BOOK" which should be about 200 pages.... the B_BOOK will be a smaller format at 5"x8" and that's all the PSYCHO counter culture inspirational madness... and I get a lot crazier than I do on this blog ^ ^ It also has the answers to all the questions you asked in my recent survey.. well answers to ALMOST all of them...
