I like it a lot !. iam another forever alone filmfreak from the ass of the world(chile).
ReplyDeleteSo dope you guys watch movies while you're working. That's usually what I do while I'm writing or doing homework. Stoked you're doing a new podcast dood.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to get my mom to be my publicist.
ReplyDeletethank u
ReplyDeleteCool, very elightening.
ReplyDeleteIt would be cool if you could do these biweekly
ReplyDeleteEndika would be a good guest to have on for the next :)
Oh god YES! A new podcast!
ReplyDeleteOk i got some questions for you guys!
1. I got this thing i have been working on forever. I rely can't think of what to make it in. I'm stuck in between making it into a graphic novel or a movie. what do you guys think i should do?
2. Can you guys give me some books that helps with subtexts?
3. Did you guy ever come up with idea for something like a movie or other things and think "Shit maybe i should NOT make this" because it THAT fucked up? Because i got somethings like that.
1. It depends on what you feel the most comfortable off, and it depends on taste too. I've always had a liking for stuff that moves, so i would go for animation, specially if it represents a challenge for you (artistically, you'll always find a way to get the material you need for your projects).
Delete2. M gave some pretty good recommendations on a podcast of his film school videos, i personally bought "developing digital short films" which i think it's great. I also recommenda Joe Murray's "Creating Animated Cartoons with character" (he's the creator of Rocko's modern life) and even though it comes from someone in the big industry, he still follows the principle of always sticking with your ideas, and he gives some good advice if your are planning to make a series.
3. All the time n___nU, but you should do it anyway, the important thing is that you feel comfortable with what you're doing.
that's the 1st hour and a half long podcast i've ever listened to ever.
ReplyDeletei'm a big mdotstrange fan and i'm a big screamerclauz fan.
you both bring something different to the table which means there's different stuff ON THE TABLE which is good.
Aight! Glad you liked it... I've got some guests lined up as well to always keep it fresH
DeleteMaybe you could talk about how your film ideas come about or how to have a clear vision of what you're doing.. I know i come up with a lot of ideas but i never know where im goin with it and it just falls flat without it @-@
ReplyDeleteScreamerClauz.... I think we've finally found someone weirder than you are Mdotstrange...
ReplyDeleteWord.
ReplyDeleteDo you plan on making the podcast subscribable through iTunes and/or Zune Marketplace?
