I had to euthanize my cat Boo today- it was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do- I've been giving him subcutaneous fluids everyday via IV for the past year as he's been dying of kidney failure- and he took a turn for the worse yesterday-
He's been at my side for my whole filmmaking career- he was my best friend so he will be greatly missed by me.
He was like my little secret weapon that comforted me through all my tough times.
He was a small cat but never backed down from a fight- he never gave up on living but his quality of life had gotten so bad I had to call it an end as his owner who loves him.
Thanks for being my little homie for so long and rest in peace little Boo- I'll miss you.

ReplyDeleteafter hearing about the shots we all feared this day would one day come ;_;
Having to put a pet down is fucking brutal. It makes you feel like never having a pet again.. But these little dudes bring something really special to our lives and being able to have some little furry animal around that always supports you is fucking awesome.
RIP Boo, thanks for supporting mdots filmmaking career, you will be missed..
My friend, Boo had a wonderful experience being your buddy. You are such a wonderful person an you touch so many lives, change so many destinies and he was your little friend at ground zero. These furry friends chose to go with us on this journey in spirit. Your friend Boo's spirit has many more exciting and or relaxing adventures ahead as he ventures on ahead until he finds the clearing.
ReplyDeleteBoo nooo! ;v; </3
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry M Dot
ReplyDeleteI also had a similar experience earlier this year. Sometimes things escalate so suddenly.
Thank you for everything.
Rest In Peace, Boo :*
Very sorry to hear it man. I know these feels. I had a pal, Radar, since I was 8 years old. He lived to be 16, he was beat all to hell by other cats, he lost an eye. He was my pirate companion. I also bore a striking resemblance to your Boo. Happy travels in the great cat beyond, dear friend.
ReplyDeleteOh, man....I wish I was with you right now to give you a hug. Very difficult to put your best friend down. Thinking of you and Boo today.
ReplyDeleteRIP. I know how much support and love a pet can give. my condolences.
ReplyDeletepoor boo, i hope your cat somehow meets my cat in the great cat heaven, they seem like theyd be fit for eachother
ReplyDeleteDang dude, I'm sorry to hear that Mdot. I hope you considering getting a new pet in the future- not to replace Boo, but to give a new friend a chance to live a life as grand as a life knowing you could be. RIP little guy.
ReplyDeletehe'll never come back but you will always remember him
ReplyDeleteAhh so sorry to hear it. :( RIP Boo!
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear that man :( Putting down a pet is a crushing experience. I've gone to funerals for human beings that haven't depressed me as much as putting down a pet dog.
ReplyDeletevery sad news, but hey, you're a filmmaker, and films make everyone involved in its conception immortal. you did record him since WATS, right? that means he will be back to give his performance everytime someone watches WATS.
ReplyDeleteI'm... sad to hear this.I'd say sorry but, I don't feel like an apology is needed..Boo sounds like a cat who lived and for that the only words to say are that I hope Boo rests well and that he will surely be missed. R.I.P. Boo.
ReplyDeleteHang in there M.
